Welcome to Original Art by Ginette Callaway. My art journey began in 1987 when I immigrated to the Unites States. In 1999 I created my Ginette Fine Art Galleries after deciding to make painting my full time profession.

On Original Art by Ginette Callaway you will find watercolors and ink, watercolors, and oil paintings. The impressionists are my original inspiration. Their love of colors and brushstrokes. Over the last almost 30 years my art has evolved and I paint in my own style. I paint mostly in vivid colors and chose themes that is meant to bring joy and peace. From the end of 2019 to the end of 2021, I have been on a hiatus from painting every day. The loss of two of my pets back to back had lots to do with it. On top of that, end of June 2021 I had a stoke and that set me back for a while. If you want to learn more about that I blogged it here is a link. I now feel better and am going to paint regularly again.
