I Walk Alone draws its essence from a poem I wrote titled I WALK ALONE. (A print out of the poem will be included for the buyer) The poem’s meditation on individual journeying—through unknown terrain, both inner and outer—finds visual echo in the mist and muted light of the forest. The painting is less a literal scene than a metaphor for the paths we choose or encounter alone: those moments where the world softens, and the edges of identity and environment blur into one another.
I Walk Alone invites the viewer into a realm where solitude is both sanctuary and enigma. This 14 by 20-inch watercolor captures a lone figure standing quietly amidst a forest that breathes with a subtle, otherworldly light.
