Yellow flowers like Daffodils are uplifting, make me feel hope, remind me of the renewal of spring. Daffodils also have a very nice fragrance, I personally love it very much. Painting daffodils makes me feel good. I recently lost my beloved pet Josi. He was with me for 18 years.

An extraordinary, gentle sweet cat with the personality of a sweet angel. Always gentle, always wanted to be picked up, he was a talker and so attached.
I painted this Daffodils watercolors with Josi’s sweet disposition in mind. It brings back memories of him loving to take a sniff on my first daffodils when they bloomed in Spring. Josi loved the sun, and sunbathing. I miss him. Daffodils and Sunflowers are the two flowers are associate with him.

The primary colors in this Daffodils painting is yellow with olive green tones and neutral purples and grays with soft touches of blue. Messengers of Spring, the first to pop out of the ground always a sight for sore eyes.
