Florence Italy or Firenze in Italian is the capital city of Tuscany. Florence was the great city a symbol of renaissance  the center of culture under the Medici.  

Heading south from the Duomo there is the political and cultural center of Florence with Palazzo Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery nearby, near which are the Bargello Museum and the Basilica of the Holy Cross.

This is an expressive colorful painting of The Cathedral di Santa Maria del Fiore. The cathedral complex, located in Piazza del Duomo, includes the Baptistery and Giotto’s Campanile. These three buildings are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
