Florence Italy Ponte Vecchio Cityscape Watercolors and Ink

Description

Italy has many famous bridges but Florence Ponte Vecchio is especially special.
Bridges are are a favorite structure of mine to paint. Ponte Vecchio is a very old midieval arch type enclosed bridge. She spans across the Arno river.

The palette for Ponte Vecchio is mostly warm tone like golden yellows some red tones and crisp lemon yellows set against neutral tones with the occasional magenta and of course green tones

Florence is the home of  breath taking Renaissance art and architecture. I have other paintings with the Florence theme. like the  one below!
Fun facts:
UNESCO declared the Historic Centre of Florence a World Heritage Site in 1982.
