Inspired by so many visits to Charleston South Carolina this is a traditional watercolors painting. Magnolia Gardens is a place that is a must on your visiting to do list. It has a certain French flair. Reminiscent of Monet Garden.

Charleston is a city of great renown. For an artist or photographer the city holds many interesting subjects. I visited many times. One time a few years back I took a lengthy tour of the East Coast. My starting point was Charleston South Carolina. From there I went all the way down to Palm Beach Florida. I stayed a whole month in Charleston.

For various reason I stayed at the Homestead in on Mount Pleasant. As a Vegan I love to fix my own food, most Vegan restaurants are still a bit on the expensive side. So I do my own cooking. Every day I plotted out what I would go and see in Charleston and the wider area. Magnolia Gardens also called Magnolia Plantation was one of the highlights. I was in Magnolia Gardens for the whole day, and I could have stayed longer.

You will be amazed at this original watercolors painting. The dominant color is a warm magenta, lavender hue. The painting has enough warm touches, reddish yellow, orangery brown and a fresh green to enhance cool tones.
