Artist Statement: From the colorful landscapes of Italy and France to the charming towns of Georgia, South Carolina, and Texas and other places inside this beautiful country called USA, I draw inspiration from my personal experiences, travels and dreams. My technique of using thick layers of paint and incorporating ink work in my watercolors, or sing mixed media to get result that I am happy with. Nature plays a significant role in my art, with birds and insects and creatures of all kind that I love. Somehow my emotions take me down new roads, experiences that are part of my exciting adventurous life make an appearance in my paintings. The passage of time, the play of light, and the beauty and challanges of life itself are my main muses. Each brushstroke and each color choice on the canvas is a reflection of the world as I see it - vibrant, colorful, and full of life but also of challenges, injustices and the world of animals in the play of our own existence.
