UPDATE Google Reviews and my Trustindex verification
I have such great customers. The lost Google review has been restored. My customer was kind enough to leave it again. I am grateful. Thanks Michael! I have not hear back from Google yet.
I want to talk just about about my google reviews and my Trustindex verification. People like to use Google to leave reviews. So I made that option available for convenience.
I like how it looks myself. Here is what just happened to me.
I recently sold a painting to customer in Atlanta, GA and this person left a review. At the time I used my Trustindex who pulls in reviews from Google. Their widgets allow me to make nice posts to show off my review.
Now I noticed that this review is not in my Google Review account any longer. The review disappeared.
So in any case I contacted Google to find out what happened and I am waiting for a reply. I understand that Google removes reviews if they think they are not legitimate, which I agree non legitimate reviews should be removed. But how do they decide that? I don’t know if mine was removed by Google or if it is just a glitch and they can make it show up again. I don’t sell lots of merchandise or widgets and get hundreds of reviews. My Google Reviews are all legit. If one is missing it matters!
My original art and my prices are on the higher end. They are not flying of the shelves like a T-shirt would. Every review to me is important. So needless to say I am highly annoyed that after I lost years of reviews with another service, I decided to go with Google after someone suggested Google Reviews. After 8 reviews, I had a sale to someone in Atlanta, who kindly left a review (see above) making it eight and then it disappeared. I don’t like to ask customers to write a review if they already done so. It looks unprofessional to have to do that and explain. So I hope Google won’t take too long to rectify this mistake or glitch.
