Ginette is painting a huge palm trees beach and ocean oil painting for a long time client from Georgia
“A couple of weeks ago I was asked to paint a huge oil painting. The person has purchased and commissioned many paintings over the last 20 years. Most are Tropical or oceans related, featuring palm trees, light houses, a beach one way or another. He is one of my first clients when I started to sell my paintings online. So I want to make this blog post to show you what I am working on. This baby is a HUGE oil painting commission and I love it! I love painting large paintings and usually can’t because I do not have the space to do it. This client provided me with a space with tall ceilings.
My client needed a very specific dimension canvas. It had to be 9 feet tall and three feet wide. To fit into a space in his newly build man island, yes not “man-cave” but “man-island” since he is an island loving person. Everything in his large “man-island” space is of course, “Island” themed. We decided to order the canvas from canvaslot.com to make sure we get an expertly stretched canvas. Here is a short video to see one of their people stretch a canvas.
The canvas arrived in a crate delivered by the Company “Diligent” with a few hick-ups but nothing major. We scheduled delivery and they failed to show up on the first day and one the 2nd they almost did not show and where two hours late. But Ok the canvas was shipped at no extra charge with the cost being just a bit under $800. That is a very good price plus the quality and well done stretching and bracing job on this made it a positive experience.
It was crated so very well. I must give a shout-out to canvaslot.com they are a very good company and deserve all the great rating they have with trust-pilot. Canvaslot.com is located in Houston Texas. If you have HUGE oil painting commission work and are looking for a source to get custom size canvas I would recommend them.
