Watercolor and ink Avenue of Poplars after Vincent van Gogh

My interpretation of this wonderful painting by Vincent Van Gogh. His use of this lush autumn palette first drew me to it. Autumn is next to spring my favorite season.

This watercolor painting is on exquisite handmade paper, which is made in the tradition way in France using pieces of cotton fabrics. The paper has four natural deckled edges. I think the don’t sell this exact paper anymore, not sure.
