This a the first painting in my series called ” new beginning ”

Earth is in a state of confusion. Millions of people are searching for peace and justice. Leora tries to stay calm. Her refuge is her work. The daily bombardment of news, lies, deception mixed with truth makes it difficult to know what is going on. Yesterday was her birthday, she turned 33. Leora celebrated with friends and then again with family.
Life is good. I am grateful for what I have, but whatever is going on in this world, she whispers to herself with a sigh? It is getting dark and Leora is ready to end her day by checking her email. In bold cursive letters appears a notice “Important read immediately”! is says. Usual she knows it’s probably another scam, she never opens these things. But this one spoke to her as if some unseen power moved her hand she fearlessly clicked and opened the message. It reads “Hello fellow traveler! We can see, you have many question. You are confused. Let us help guide you. Fear not, we are from the future and if you like, you may join us to learn and grow, to get away from the confusion on earth.
Wish for it in your mind before you fall asleep tonight. Well that is cryptic enough, Leora thought. She felt a chill, but then, she was very intrigued. Time came to go to bed. The message still on her mind she lies down and thought to herself. “It would be fun to see what happens. Can’t be worse than being stuck in this madness. So she wished to join these travelers, right before her eyes got heavy and she fell asleep.   
Leora found herself on a craft and in the large viewing window, the earth became smaller and smaller, eventually disappeared in the distance. The adventure has begun. Other ships followed, it seemed as if thousands of individual crafts, some shining like lights or luminous globes,  in the process of leaving earth. A mass exodus maybe? … to be continued!
