North Georgia where I often go, provides inspiration to paint an Autumn Sunset. Autumn colors paint gorgeous wide vistas, especially if you get to some of the highest points. This is a 12 by 12 inches original painting. I painted this in 2012 but it is like brand new, since I stored it safely in a box as I do with all my art.

I chose a palette of warm hues with green and neutral accents, layered the colors on in lush knife strokes.
