Description

Beautiful Black Water Wetland Impressionist Oil Paintings

Black water is found in what is called, the swamp, the wetlands of the southern United States are rich in wildlife and beauty.  The deep rick dark tea like color comes from decaying vegetation creating tannin, just like in tea!  Florida and Georgia has beautiful wetlands with black water. This is one of a series of paintings I have done in oil and watercolors. I will continue be inspired by this beautiful land.
