The rocky cliffs of the canyon are a palette of earth colors and rugged textures which is a perfect subject for a rustic landscape painting. This is the 2nd painting of this kind. The first one is also available and you can see it by clicking on this link

November is a perfect time to visit, I highly recommend it. I used rich modern impressionist oil painting with strong brushstrokes and palette knife work. Please see the detail images. The whole painting is mostly a cool palette.
