This was one of many butterfly paintings that have almost all sold.

This is a 12 by 12 inches original painting. I painted this in 2010-11 but it is like brand new, since I stored it safely in a box as I do with all my art.

I chose a palette of pink hues and purple set against the complementary of warm yellow to orange and layered the colors on in lush knife strokes.
