Continuing celebrating Autumn with this Oak Tree Landscape Watercolors, even though he has not arrived in full force. It stills feels like summer.
But I am happy that birds have arrived. Every morning the tops of trees are filled with them. Lots of chatter coming from their busy beaks.
This is what I love Nature, Autumn, Birds, Wind and Rain. yes I love Rain. All in capital letters because I capitalize what is important to me.
I love rain, at least in Autumn when it is cool. Not so much the rain in summer here in Georgia that make it all humid.
Even after 30 years of living in Georgia I can not make myself love that humid weather. Maybe that is why I love Autumn so much. Oh never mind. I ALWAYS loved Autumn. Even as a kid. I really like cooler temperatures. Always have, always will.
In this painting I did not use ink or graphite, but I went in boldly with my brushes. My color palette is filled with soft oranges and yellows with touches of peach and blue hues.
