This is a stunning Palette Knife Oil Painting of Providence Canyon State Park in Georgia

I just returned from a short visit to Providence Canyon, located in Omaha Georgia in the south of Georgia. To learn more about this place here is a link to the Georgia State park web
The rocky cliffs of the canyon are a palette of earth colors and rugged textures which is a perfect subject for a rustic landscape painting.

November is a perfect time to visit, I highly recommend it. I used rich warm autumn colors and applied them with brush and palette knife. The whole painting is mostly warm palette, the cloudless blue sky sets it off dramatically.
