Blue Ridge Mountains Autumn is a colorful watercolor original painting

Also known as the Appalachian Mountains range. It is a huge area starting in northern Georgia and ending in Pennsylvania.

The majesty and beauty is truly endless. Some areas are so remote and uncovered, no wonder stories of Bigfoot hiding in there, are part of the mystique. 
In this watercolor painting I used mostly my imagination. I gleaned some impressions from photos I took during visits to north Georgia. My intent was to create an impression of what makes Blue Ridge Mountains gets it’s name.

As far as the eyes can see ranges overlap and go from green to blue to lightest blue disappearing into a haze. Truly mesmerizing views.
