Wetland Impression with Birds Wildlife Landscape painted in a palette of dark tones, French ultra blues and blue green tones with accents of burgundy red  the birds are pink. Watercolors & ink. My inspiration for this  comes to me from the American South’s wildlife wetlands.

There is always something to paint starting with Birds. When you look at a wide swath of an area and squint it becomes an abstract play between dark and light, solid and  liquid, colors and  black and  movement all over. The wetland vibrates and sings.

My explorations took me to many places within the surrounding States. Mostly Georgia, Florida, South Carolina this is the regions I have called my home for over 30 years!
