Appreciating art buyers many art prints sold shout out
I want to take the time to give a shout out to some art buyers who bought many art prints of late.
Without you who buy art prints on a regular bases, many repeat buyers I could not make it.
These sales keep food on the t able, supplies in my studio and kibbles in the bowls of my two cats.
They also make me happy beyond the monetary aspects.
It’s not just about the money, the needed income. It’s also about the feeling of knowing that there are people out there that love my art.
That appreciate it. My style, my vision, whatever it is that appeals to them to make that decision to spend their money on it.
As an artist I want to think that my work reaches someone and when I see something sell, or get heartwarming email, I know it does.
That is probably at least 50% of what keeps me going with ease. I would paint regardless if I sold anything, but I certainly would not have as much time, to do so.
I would have to work on some other job full time, but I am so lucky that I continue to have buyers especially of my prints, that are a steady income. The royalties I get paid by print on demand vendors like Imagekind or Fine Art America are actually my retired future income. I can’t see myself “retire’ I will paint ’till the day I flop down onto daisies with a smile on my face.
Yes there are ups and down and this isn’t like a 9 to 5 job with a reliable paycheck, however I feel so free and try not to worry about “will there be enough sales to make the bills, or buy food”.
