Corniglia is one of five towns that comprise the Cinque Terre. 

This is a watercolor and ink original interpretation of the charming village Corniglia. Sitting on a cliff about 100 meters high but with no direct access to the sea. The Cinque Terre in Italy is a group of five villages.

My palette is fresh clean colors with mostly green tones, complimented by some warm reds and  orange tomes in the village of Corniglia. Cinque Terre Italy is a stretch of villages that have a long history. I have to say, I am amazed how Italy has maintained these villages, considering they are by the sea exposed to the salty mist.  
The watercolors I used are all artist quality and light fast but I still recommend to hand this painting away from direct sunlight.
