A black butterfly landed on a flower in Charlotte’s garden, the flutter by insect caught her eye. Black wings dancing in the sun, reveal themselves as more than black, they shimmer in colors of blue and magenta with touches of green. The subject was an invitation for a palette knife oil painting.
