Description
Charleston Churches are famous and historical, I painted a few like the St. Philips Church, St. Michael’s Episcopal Church, St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church with the highest steeple of all the churches.
I painted this with whimsical ink lines and quirky perspective but chose soft pinkish white for the church walls and kept it all overall soft.
I used Arches watercolor paper and if you like to see more of that, here is a link to a blogpost. Charleston Churches are what gives Charleston the name THE Holy City. The city is filled with so much culture, art galleries galore, restaurants, you name it Charleston has it. I miss you!

I have another large watercolor original of St. Philip’s Church size 22 by 30 inches. Painted entirely with … wait for it… Q Tips. Yes I painted with Q Tips. Why would I do that?
