Charleston South Carolina St Philips Church Watercolor Painting
is one of many paintings I have done over the years. Charleston South Carolina is one of my favorites cities to visit. 

This painting is a large watercolor size 22 by 30 inches that I painted entirely with … wait for it… Q Tips. Yes I painted this with Q Tips. Why would I do that. Well I get something in my head and then I had to try it. Over a cup of coffee sitting and thinking, I wondered what if I did not have brushes, what could I use to paint with.

I looked at a box of Q Tips and bing, a light went off. So I painted it with this unusual tool. My hand ended up in a world of hurt because holding these small Q tips really made it a weird way of painting but I loved teh outcome. I hope you do too.
