Description
Charleston South Carolina Churches are plenty. I have painted them all. The French Huguenot church is my last one. About beginning of this month I did a small watercolor and ink 9 x12 inches.
It sold just a week ago. That was great. It sold to a couple that got married at the Huguenot Church.
I had already planed to paint a larger one. This one is a 16 x 20 inch. In this I included a vintage car. A cabriolet may be waiting for a newlywed couple to drive off on their honeymoon?
The church is a favorite among couples that want to tie the knot. I can see why because it has a allure of magic mystery.

I used Arches watercolor paper and if you like to see more of that, here is a link to a blogpost. Charleston Churches are what gives Charleston the name THE Holy City. The city is filled with so much culture, art galleries galore, restaurants, you name it Charleston has it. I miss you!

I have another large watercolor original of St. Philip’s Church size 22 by 30 inches. Painted entirely with … wait for it… Q Tips. Yes I painted with Q Tips. Why would I do that?
