Along the river there are the fairytale houses and old world building. This makes Annecy France so charming, you think they are from a different time. Annecy France is a place like no other, which is why millions of travelers stop there. The charming houses are restaurants, patisseries, coffee shops and other businesses. The river Thiou flows into Lake Annecy, to the South majestic Alps demand attention.
In my painting I wanted to convey this whimsical charm. Vibrant colors, are part of these fairytale houses, a city where red geraniums follow the river to the bridges. I have painted Annecy for over 20 years. Here is another one you may like CLICK HERE
