Description
This is a small Impasto oil painting of a Texas flower that is know as the Indian paintbrush.
It grows wild together with the famous Texas blue bonnets. The Hill Country area is covered with these beauties in spring as far as the eyes can see.
If you are looking for expressive eye catching work, my work will please you, like this small but powerful painting. I used large palette knives and lots of thick oil paint to create wonderful texture, bringing the stems and flowers pedals alive.
My palette is glorious red Cadmium Red Medium and Light as well as cobalt blue Lemon yellow and sap green, The impasto technique is a very textured oil application, that will leave you amazed.
