A 18 by 24 inches watercolor mixed media painting.
I stood on the bridge over Shem Creek Mount Pleasant, took a dozen or so photos and painted.
On Shem Creek you can feast in one of the many restaurants, fill your stomach after a morning on the beach. Only a short drive takes you to Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum, definitely a place to visit.
From Mount Pleasant I crossed Arthur Ravenel Jr. bridge into Charleston. to spend the day going to museums and art galleries.

My painting “Shem Creek Mount Pleasant South Carolina” was the cover of the Charleston SCBIZ Magazine for the Month of July & August. I think the cover was awesome.
Charleston SCBIZ Magazine wrote a little article about me too, but something during the interview got crossed and they made a mistake. Wrote something I did not say exactly as they wrote it. Now I know always get to proofread interviews if they plan to publish it. It’s on page 6.
Their mistake was: I never worked for STAX in Memphis, I work with a person who got his start with Stax Records in Memphis and now has his own Record Label in Atlanta now, Georgia. But hey I love the cover they made it look smashing. Thanks for picking Shem Creek as a feature on your cover.
