Hummingbird Song 2 Watercolor Paintings SOLD

Would you have guessed that this tiny bird is actually quite aggressive?   Some hummingbirds are as small as 2 inches but they will take on other larger birds in defense of their territory or nest. A big heart packed in a small body. I love these little guys! For Hummingbirds Song 2 I chose a palette of red hues, green and neutral tones. There are color accents of yellow in the bird.  Some of the red melts to soft pinkish tones but the pink does not overtake in any way. The red hues are comparable to a cherry red.
