Description
Winter Wonderland Transition to Spring Oil on Canvas is a unique painting, a scene that could be found in many places around the world. Pure nature, wild untouched, with no footprints. A few Crocus flowers are breaking to the crust of snow, a sure sign of Spring not far behind. A proud Stag standing alone, but alert in his domain.
The color palette is dominated by cool tones. Blue, Bluegreen, neutral tones set off by the warm bright tones of sunsets and emerging flowers. My palette knife and brushes were following my every command and I really felt as if divine inspiration guided me through this whole painting. My inner feelings were of such piece and happiness, I though “This feels so right!”
Winter Wonderland Transition to Spring is my first oil painting for 2024 and if it is any sort of indication for what is to come I just can’t wait to get working on my next painting.
